Bourses SCES
Appel aux nominations
Nous sollicitons des nominations pour les prix SCES 2025 pour des contributions significatives à l'étude des systèmes d'électrons fortement corrélés. Conformément à la tradition établie lors de SCES 2013 à Tokyo, trois prix, dont deux en début de carrière, seront décernés lors de SCES 2025.

- Nevill F. Mott Prize
It will be awarded to a person who has made significant contributions to the theory of strongly correlated electron systems, and who is active in research no more than 8 years after the PhD.
- Bryan R. Coles Prize
It will be awarded to a person who has made significant contributions to the experimental study or discovery of strongly correlated electron materials and phenomena, and who is active in research no more than 8 years after the PhD.
- Bernard Coqblin Prize
It will be awarded to a person who has made significant contributions to the physics of strongly correlated electron systems achieved in a country where the field of SCES is not well established or who has made significant contributions to establish vigorous activity of SCES research in such a country.
Application
- Les candidatures, d'une longueur maximale de deux pages, doivent expliquer l'importance du travail sur lequel elles se fondent et indiquer explicitement le prix pour lequel le candidat est proposé. La langue de rédaction est obligatoirement l'anglais.
- Veuillez limiter à trois le nombre de nominations par candidat.
- Pour les prix de début de carrière, la date d'obtention du doctorat du candidat doit être indiquée.
- Les nominations, ainsi que les documents justificatifs, par exemple un CV d'une page du candidat et un ou deux articles liés à la nomination, doivent être envoyés par courriel à Andrea Bianchi (sces-nominations@conferium.com) et Manuel Brando (brando@cpfs.mpg.de) au plus tard le 15 février 2025 avec pour objet « Prize Nominations for SCES 2025 ».
